PROJECT DESCRIPTION

After building a new 90,000 square foot Base Fractionation facility, a customer expressed the need to complete the install of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), provide production support, and train their internal staff.

E2i leveraged their previous project experience from developing this facility’s SCADA system to integrate an update from Version 2 to Version 3 of the Werum PAS-X software. The on-site production support and hands-on multi week training

E2i provided taught the production staff how to execute manufacturing orders in the MES environment. This development environment control system allowed staff to execute orders from start to finish in a fully simulated virtual production environment in instructor-led small groups over a three-week period to ensure success from day one. E2i’s extensive understanding of this facility and its control systems ideally positioned the company to provide this training.

E2i has continued to provide MES and controls support post-project at multiple production facilities at this site, working alongside the customer’s engineering team on change control processes, MBR development, continued planned improvements and future expansions.
